The greats can always stay cool.

Ali- It has to take some nerve to rest on the ropes and take a mans best shots, especially Foreman's

James Toney- Relaxed and moved fluidly

Old George- kept it together despite getting hit with big shots

Ray Leonard- stayed cool against Hearns even after taking his best shots, walked him down and stopped him late.

Monzon and Ali are the best that come to mind.

Chavez and Arguello were always so calm, but what made it more impressive is they could stand right in your face and you could fire away, but they wouldn't seem rattled in the slightest. Actually, that helped Marciano too. When you aren't fearful of punches, it helps you move in faster and more consistently. A lot of guys move forward, but not as far in as they need to, or not as consistently, or not as quickly as required. When you have good defense, confidence, a chin, and remain calm under fire, you can put apply that real pressure that wears down guys.

    DURAN!

If you came at him looking for a war, he would flash that big grin and wave you on. He had you than.

By far, Chris Eubank. No blinking even, subtle head slips or cupped gloves/relaxed arms.
