As I said, look at Ruslan's last 3 opponents (Bradley, Alvarado, Algieri). They all ended hospitalised after their fights with Ruslan.

 

Haters are underrating Garcia since the Mathysse fight b/c of the gift received in the CLOSE in MY EYES fight with Herrera than the WHAT THE FUKK fight with Salka.

Im a fan of Garcias, and I figured Mathysee would beat him since Garcia was noticeably hurt by Judah. However, Danny boxed a masterclass that night and took perfect advantage over Lucas weaknesses, but STiLL the fight was razor thin close, and without the tangled in the ropes KD, Lucas woulda got the DEC imo.

Same goes for Provodnikov. While Lucas would be considered a slightly better boxer than Ruslan, I would say their power is almost identical.
So, the reason, IMO, that Mathysee lost the fight, was b/c he was at the end of Danny's jab entirely too long and didnt go downstairs and force an infight, whereas Danny's not a runner like Algeri, and Ruslan would grind all night, taking the sting out of Danny's jabs and hooks.

So, IMO.....Lucas vs Ruslan is 50/50, Lucas by DEC, or Ruslan by KO, and Danny vs Lucas 50/50, Lucas by KO or Danny by DEC again, and Danny vs Ruslan, also 50/50, Ruslan by KO or Danny by DEC.:think

 

Ruslan would batter him BAD. Garcia might start speaking Spanish after the fight and move to MVC!'s basement afterwards.

I'm not even a big fan of Garcia. Hes definitely beatable but Ruslan isn't the one to do it.

Garcia boxed pretty well against Matthysse. I did not expect that but thats what happened.

Provo on the other hand marched forward against Algieri in a really unintelligent manner and allowed Chris to survive.

That was a fight Provo should have won easily. Chris isn't that good. But Provo can't cut the ring worth **** and let Chris survive.

Garcia would just box Provo similarly and win. Garcia proved he has an excellent chin so, I don't think that Provo is gonna catch him with a lucky shot and KO him.

This is an easy fight to pick for me.

 

Danny will quite simply beat the dog **** out of Ruslan. The Russian would crumble under the precise power punches from the Swift One.

 

Just like Khan and Matthysse did....

 

Styles make fights and this is an interesting one. Swift isn't a runner like Algieri so he would probably have to do it tough like Bradley. I don't think Swift has the same gas tank as Bradley. I do however think he is just as tough and a better puncher. Bradley basically outworked Provo in the end, I think Swift would have to do the same.

I definitely believe Swift will get hurt but i think his heart will get him through the 12 rounds. I say Swift takes a very close and disputed sd/md, in the fight of whatever year this takes place. Both fighters come out with improved reputations.

 

Garcia is NOT slick enough to stay away from Provodnikov's onslaught.

Garcia is there to be hit and he is Slow & Flat footed.
