Floyd Mayweather vs. Amir Khan speculation & discussion

Amir Khan is a Khan fan must see fight. A lot of people could care less about it. Pac is a peoples fight and everybody wants to see that. Fans and casuals. The way I see it, Canelo is not a mainstream fighter. If Mexicans didn't watch him, he would be at a loss. Cotto is more mainstream than he is.

You people need to realise there is one extremely sad, depressed, weird Asian muslim.. who all these alts belong to.

He has no life whatsoever.. he spends his whole life defending and promoting Khan on boxing forums all day every day. Odd.

 

He has always said he would pose problems with mayweather based on his style and I agree somewhat

but bottom line is any other fight other then pac its a cherry pick simple as that

 

If he gets this wrong he should stop talking about mayweather.

 

yeah i do to , Khan was more explosive with Roach , more Flaws but used his speed more positively.

 

Khan has all the speed and skill to beat mayweather but it's the chin which ****s him up

 

Enough to stop Khan if he planted his feet.

The only thing a Khan brings to the table is speed, other than that Mayweather is the more intelligent, skilled, accomplished and harder hitting of the two.

If Mayweather didn't have decent power and strength he wouldn't have got away with putting Cotto and Canelo on the back foot.

 

Khan does not hit harder than fmj. Fmj has fought a much higher calibre opponant and higher weights for longer than khan

 

There is nothing to support the idea that Khan hits harder at Welterweight. The height difference is insignificant. Workrate, alone will not win him the fight and Floyd does tend to have an uncanny effect on his opponents' output.

Hand-speed is the only area of intrigue in this fight but, unfortunately for Khan, his speed is not laced with enough skill and intelligence to beat Mayweather.

 

Who the **** cares what Roach has to say. The guy says one thing then a few weeks later will say the exact opposite and people keep writing threads and articles about every statement

Roach and Floyd Sr constantly talk out of their ass and no one should pay attention.

 

Roach said Floyd would never fight Mosley.

Roach said Floyd's legs are gone.

One question could you ever envision Khan standing in the pocket with Cotto or Canelo and backing them up due to punches?

I couldn't , infact Khan wouldn't make it past round 2/3 against either fighter.

 

Khan does have a chance of beating the current mayweather. As for the prime mayweather, i see it being more unlikely, i see him getting knocked out. If slow guys like danny can time him well then what about someone quicker like floyd.

 

Khan has the tools, yet cotto also had the tools but lost as well
