Only reason Slappy wasn't KO'd was he ducked everyone capable of KO ing anyone for 90% of his career

Ridiculously callin Calzaghe Sir Joe is an insult to all the Knights of the Realm.
Sniffer Joe might be more apt lol

Joe Calzaghe was a very good fighter but he didn't challenge himself half as much as he should have so he cant be called an all time great across all divisions. In terms of the Super Middleweight Division alone he is indisputably one of the all time greats as he is the most accomplished fighter in the divisions history, but this and one noteworthy victory in the division above is not enough to move him from the very good/hall-of-famer category to the all time great one.

Greatest SMW of all time. Those were some great events when he gave Left Hook Lacy the worst beating in the history of pugilism, beat undefeated powerhouse Kessler, schooled Bernard "I'll never lose a white boy" Hopkins, beat down Roid Jr...fantastic memories. It was a pleasure watching this man's career.

I never said Hopkins got KO'd, but Pascal "dropped" him twice for the record.

He was also dropped twice by Mercado in their first fight.

Joe Calzaghe also had, what should've been a legit knock down (probably knock out how long he was down) with a shot to the solar plexus)

Ironic the Newbridge Assassin was able to TKO prime Hopkins but Kovalev couldn't stop a shot Hopkins

    Calzaghe slaps >>> Kovalevs sledgehammers
