I agree with the OP. Scorecards aside, it's a similar trend between the two. Danny arguably lost to Herrera, Provo arguably lost to Algieri. Danny takes a weak tune up in Salka, Provo takes a weak tune up in Castillo. Danny gets **** talked about him non stop, Provo does not.

 

do not compare the ruslan vs algieri to the garcia vs herrera one was a clear robbery the garcia one

I agree with you. There's not enough oceans to describe the depth between today's JMM and today's JCC. Surely they could've found someone better even if the original goal fell short.

This fight shouldn't happen, and JCC deserves better than to get a few years beaten off his life against Provodnikov in a fight he can't win.
