    Why are people thinking this fight will be so easy for kovalev? Why do you think he is a 3 to 1 favorite?

    I don't see any performance other than beating Nathan Cleverly that would make me see Kovalev as a elite fighter...

    Up until 1.5 yrs ago this guys best win was DARNELL BOONE. LOL.

    Also when has Hopkins lost to someone with less than insane speed? Answer: never.

    Calzaghe = fast
    taylor = fast
    jones = fast
    dawson = fast

    Kovalev isn't as fast as any of those guys... Kovalev has good timing which can get him past quicker guys so he can land that KO shot. But Hopkins is much harder to time and not predictable AT ALL.

    Bet the farm on BHOP YALL. 3 to 1 ODDS.

    IF we get passed 5-6 Rds & B-Hop can get away with some rough **** on the inside maybe cause a cut or 2 on Kovalev's face...

    **** will be interesting.

    I'm not quick to write off BHOP.
    But I believe he'll have to KO Kovalev - and I don't think BHOP can, he hasn't KO'd anyone since Del La Hoya.
    I don't think BHOP can win on points, because I cannot see him making 12 rounds. I think his only chance is a KO - and that is slim.
    Does he have the power to keep Kovalev off him? Absolutely not.
    Without a KO, I think BHOP is slim to none.

    Kovalev never been in that deep water. Hopkins thrives on skepticism. This could be a good for him.

    Power? :lol:
    You dont really need power to keep somone off of you. Footwork, timing and skills are what is of importance. Go look at Whitaker clowning chavez.

    He's 50. I'm not counting him out but know that eventually father time will win out. At 50 one would think his time is as short as leprechauns.

    Kovalev is already mind****ed, or his limited English would suggest that at least. Hopkins is gonna be his toughest fight yet and he knows it.

    He's FIFTY, was beat by Dawson 2X EASILY. I hope Sirgay is at least as good as Dawson.

    Kovalev by temple shot.
    BHop will claim that the punch landed behind his head, despite video evidence on the contrary.

    Like it's already been said Hopkins is F**king 50 if Kovalev can't beat him he should be embarrassed. Not to take away from him should he wins but that is real, at least he'll have an ATG on his record.

    The age thing should play no roll.
