This is a weird match up but interesting due to both boxers styles. Eubanks is more talented but at times during his bouts doesn't really throw a lot of punches and that would fall into Ottkes liking as Ottke could control the pace of the bout with his movement.Who do you think would have won?
Depends how many times Eubank loses a point for hitting him!! Eubank too strong, too skilled, too powerful for Ottke I think. KO or points but not a close run thing.
Ottke would have been seriously outclassed. Unless the money was too good to turn down those fighting Ottke in Germany knew if they couldn't stop him they would get screwed on the cards.
And those that did take the money on offer often did! Robin Reid screwed over us UK fight fans will feel,Byron Mitchell another fantasy decision by the officials.
There is no S at the end of Eubank. That being said, I'd go with Chris via wide decision. Eubank - s, was far more proven at the world level, unlike Ottke who was heavily protected and even benefited from some good home cookin' on the score cards.
anyone near eubanks ability would destroy ottke. this is not an opinion, its just the way it always is.
Ottke is well underrated. It would come down to scoring criteria here. Ottke would outland Chris but Eubank would land the more telling blows. He was born Chris Eubanks but he couldn't pronounce it.
Well I go by the professional name that the fighter uses throughout his career, and it was Eubank with no S. I don't know how so many people manage to f-ck that up but amazingly they do.
It's not it's his real name and the announcers often called him 'Eubanks'. I'm unsure if he legally changed his name or not. On his request they changed it but there's a good reason for any confusion.
