It would be a nice swansong for Froch though - a nice payday, a big fight in America and an easy win. I can see why it appeals.

 

great fight for chacez, he will beat the **** out of carl and stop him between 6-9.

i should had put in the important part of an in shape chavez.
the chavez of the 2nd vero fight would brutalize carl.

also, carl is one of the most over rated fighters, especially on esb while chavez is one of the all time most under rated fighters

Chavez couldnt even stop Brian Vera in 2 fights. Rosado is not feather fisted, but still.. i'd put plenty of money on Froch to stop Vera every time they fought. Chavez has a chin, but I dont think his power is anywhere near Froch.

 

froch has **** for power, its ok for 168 but that its, OK.
he might stop vera which chavez didnt but how does that mean he has more power ? also. froch is much slower than the "slow" chavez which would be the only reason he could stop vera.

vera would be over confident and commit to much more combos leaving himself wide open for a froch hook or straight right that could hurt him. the first vera fight doesnt even count, chavez had NO business being in the ring with anyone. the 2nd fight he put a real hurtin on vera which i think took what he had left in his chin away.

chavez is more skilled than froch (who the hell isnt ?) he is also faster and has a way better chin. in shape chavez destroys froch due to froch standing right in front of him all night long.
