Alexander Povetkin vs Tyson Fury

Povetkin, it wouldn't even be close. I really want to see this fight happen.

 

i have it 70/30 fury...I think a lot of people underestimate fury. just like many on here underestimate wilder. given they havent fought too much ranked opponents yet...despite chisora and malik scott...but every fighter has to start somewhere...i honestly think fury is the real deal...just like i think wilder is better than ppl think...both of them have not fought as good as they can yet...because neither has been tested too much...therefore they did what was needed to win...when a fighter tests them i think they will show off more of their skills...anyway chisora is still top ten and fury was beating his ass the whle fight and laughing while doing it most of the fight. smirking and smiling all the way to the finish

 

Pov would beat Fury the same way he beat Chambers.

 

Fury would jab his head off and dominate in the later rounds due to his workrate

I think, unlike Wlad's fight, Povetkin will manage to get inside and get Fury in trouble. Possibly serious trouble. Sasha is better at his game now and Fury is a far cry from Wlad. David brings down Goliath in this one for me!

Povetkin got inside on Wlad every ten seconds of all the 12 rounds of the fightatsch

Fury would outbox Povetkin and he wouldn't need a single back hump to help him out.

Riddle me this? Why could Tackam snatch arguably 6 rounds off Povetkin without reducing himself to constant fouls and cheating like Wlad had to?

It only stands to reason Wlad is not on the same level as Tackam. Fury used Tackam as a sparring partner.

 

youre all underating fury. povetkin by ko is a big possibility. but once fury lays on you and turns it into a dog fight, its quite hard to get him off. and povetkin is ****ing good fighter, but 6'2 230lbs vs 6'9 256lbs. thats not to be sniffed at.

 

Andrzej Wawrzyk was 6'5" and, while "only" 232lbs, in much better shape than Fury.

Povetkin tore him apart.

He also went straight at 6'6", 242lb Wladimir and was happy to engage in a dogfight with him. It was Klitschko that wanted none of that.

Povetkin doesn't back down from the big fellas, he goes at 'em.

 

does he use all his weight and height against the smaller man, coz as we saw vs wlad, povetkin didnt have much answer to that that clinch, he was swinging for the fences and missing by alot. not saying fury is like wlad, worlds apart in ability, but fury does lay on top of his opponent and he does tire them out, and he has got underated power and speed, its his defence that is shoddy. but povetkin likes to be in close so he can throw his short compact punches, not long straights.
