yes, I'm going to the fight and have told casual boxing fans to watch it so he better not stink it up.
Everybody knows his only way of winning is by some sneaky **** he can't win against great comp fairly now days
Boxers are said to be past his primes usually mid 30's.Hopkins is underrated if something. And he didn't quit against Joe,it was highly competitive SD.and yes he lost against Dawson when he was 1000yrs old already.so what?he beat Pascal who beat Dawson.it's amazing that he is still highly competitive against these young guns in boxing. When you are 1000yrs old you can't go toe2toe and give fans a great brawl. I'm still young 28.but i respect highly what this man is doing on daily basis.i can only imagine how hard it will be at 50.truly special athlete,we will probably never again, see this kind of athlete. who competes at the highest level at this age I have seen, many Kovalev fans etc.. Are not 100% sure he will win, they are already making excuses for their boy.i would love nothing more that Hopkins holds&fouls his way to decision.then we would see these keyboard warriors crying again. One week and Kovalev goes from KO machine to overhyped bum,who never beat anybody and Hopkins cheated blaa blaa etc.. And they will give zero credit for that FACT. Hopkins is 1000yrs old and is still top of the boxing world. Hopkins should inspire all of us,one of the greatest stories in the world.and shows how far dedication and believing yourself could push you in life.
Yes,senior citizens should not even belong in the ring.especially against monster like Kovalev.even going full 12rounds and losing should get respect. What is that many posters don't understand that 50yrs old man is basically corpse in boxing ring? If he would go toe2toe and win.it should be considered as single best perfomance in sports in general. Even going dirty, and winning is up there to debatable as one of the greatest perfomances ever.
if hops goes 12 and is standing at the end and can speak a couple words, yes a couple words that will be the greatest sports accomplishment in sports for 2014 period
