Khans speed should probably get him the win. He has sufficient pop too put alexander on the back foot and under Hunter he should go rushing in for KD's and KO's... That said this is Khan and his ring IQ is pretty low.

Id predict a Khan SD win but its a close fight

I'm picking Khan to win a close decision, but the next most likely outcome is Alexander winning by KO.

What's all this "Khan has never been outboxed" bull**** that some of you keep spouting? What is your definition of boxing? Because as far as I can see Lamont Peterson was outboxing him for at least half the fight and Danny Garcia outboxed him in rounds 3 and 4 of a fight that ending in the 4th, and won the ****ing fight.

Don't tell me that throwing fast but mostly inaccurate flurries, pushing and running constitutes boxing but closing the range down, perfectly timing and beating the **** out of your opponent, does not.

So stop with the bull****. Say Khan has never been outsped (if that's a word), Khan has never been outflurried, but outboxed? Yes he has been.

    Thank you for saying that.

I don't know what that's all about. I think "never been outboxed before!" will go down in the pantheon similar to "young, hungry lion."

People were dead ass serious when they originally repeated it over and over, but the moment they don't get what their agenda wants, they will mock the "slogan" of sorts.

Khan was badly OUTBOXED by Danny Garcia. That's why Garcia managed to TKO him in less than one third of the scheduled distance. And while I scored Khan over Peterson, that fight was highly competitive and Peterson outboxed Khan pretty widely in most of the rounds he won.

It's like trying to say that Ivan Calderon went his whole career without being outboxed just because all of his KO defeats at the end of his career were against pressure fighters... There is a great diversity to boxing and what goes on in the ring. It is all "boxing." Therefore, if you lose by one punch KO or by a grueling inside fight or by a jab contest, it is all still being "outboxed" in that aspect of the sport.

That's exactly right, as you said, it is all boxing. That's it in a nutshell.

DSG outboxed Khan?? Please! Did you see the look on Angel's face after the second round?? He was having kittens seeing his son being beaten so badly!

Khan hasn't been outboxed yet and the Khan that beat AK for the world title would beat most guys i.e running away style but everyone watches Khan for the simple fact that as good as he is he is always one punch away from being KTFO!

So let me get this right. Everybody was saying Khan has bad boxing IQ, goes to Hunter who makes him more defensive, now people are saying Hunter should not have changed him??

The amount of nonsense posted about Khan you would think he's never won a medal in the Olympics, never won a belt ( 3 times I think ) and not made more money than everybody on this site through boxing.

What is it then? Outsinging him? Rough house tactics, swarming, inside work, body shots, all these are classed as what? Boxing.

I think you mean to say that no fighter has as yet fought Khan at his own game and won but I have news for you, Khan is not the only fighter who can "box".

It's like saying, Maidana never won a round off Mayweather because Chino didn't use the shoulder roll and pot shot, ie, "outbox" him.

Did you see the face on Khan's Dad at ringside when Garcia knocked Khan all around the ring after round 2? Garcia figured out the one dimensional Khan by the end of round 2 and the rest, well you know what happened. If Khan can't be outboxed how was Garcia able to do that? Think about that.

Suggest you re-watch the fight. Khan was having success at range but also trying to engage with Garcia whilst standing in the pocket. There were shots wizzing past Khans head but and I think this is where people think he should learn from, instead of just boxing at range he again tries to slug it out in the pocket and bang the rest is history. At no point was he getting knocked around the ring, until after the knockdown.
