After seeing Nick Blackwell perform so well against the very dangerous Sergey Khomitsky I'm baffled as to why there isn't more talk about him on here. He clearly did s lot better than Martin Murray against the same man.
Plus it looks like he may get the winner of BJS v Eubank.

Yet all the talk on here is about these two, Murray, ryder etc!
For me none of them are certain to beat Blackwell today. Yet fans seem to be sleeping on him. :huh

Just when I thought Blackwell couldn't be worse managed and after he finally signs with a good promoter.. they chuck him in a 6 round fight at late notice with Khomitsky!!! wtf!!

By agreeing to just a 6 round fight with Khomitsky was just plain dumb.

I agree he's a top tough young fighter though, old skool - will fight anyone.

Very much overlooked for sure.Got a bad decision against Khomitsky and ridiculous for it to be 6 round fight.

Still only 24 but already has bags of experience in that he will fight anyone and deserves recognition.

BJ Saunders. Ryder,& Blackwell our are best and most exciting talents at middle

used to like Murray but he's not been the same since the Martinez fight and that illness he had.. he's been really boring to watch.. and he's obviously just accepted a dumb fight.

Macklin is a bit shot imo
Eubank Jnr's gonna get schooled off BJS
Etches is too one dimensial, will be exposed similar to how Buglioni was
Ogogo is crap, weak and chinny
Cummings - heard good things but not seen him yet

He wont fight winner of bjs eubank cause the winner will move on from domestic level. Blackwell is guaranteed a shot at the british title so guessing ryder etches danny butler ( current english champ) cud b inline after bis next fight.

I like him, the 6 rounder with Khomitsky was idiocy though.

Tell us more about Murrays illness? Never knew. We will see what Macklin has left against Heiland soon. I have seen Cummings, he is a good solid basic boxer, too soon to say how far he will go yet. Also good so far is Dublin middleweight Luke keeler, and quigley from Donegal. :good

Well, he was slipping into inactivity, which is the plague of modern day boxers. So anything is better than that, I suppose.

Nick certainly looked a lot better against Khomitsky than Murray did in either of his two fights with Khomitsky. That's a very nasty jab Nick has developed...look at the state of Khomitskys face after only 6 rounds!

I know Nick isn't flawless, and his corner was getting frustrated with him at times, but he looked very strong in there and had an excellent 5th and 6 th rounds.

I wouldn't consider any domestic middle as certain to beat Blackwell today.

Len,Blackwell's problem is that up until this point he has always been on the right hand side of the bill you know where I am going with this!

Blackwell is a fighter that many in this country will look to swerve he gives no one an easy night.

Because a close look at his record suggests he has beaten absolutely nobody and the "names" he has been in with he's lost. Despite spouting off about his fight in Monaco the other week he only managed to draw against a 40 year old.

How did he do better than Martin murray? Murray won twice Blackwell drew.

Obviously, you moron, I mean " boxed better, performed better etc". Not how the scorecards read!

Compare Khomitskys face after 6 rounds with Blackwell to the 6th rounds of his fights with murray. He was unmarked versus Murray. Someone in that ring the other night was beating him up...are you suggesting it was the referee? :nut
