I watched some highlights of Beterbiev, he is going to be a monster and that other CW guy, Osyk (Sp) ?

Kovalev and Beterbiev would both KO Stevenson.

Beterbiev will be much more dangerous than Kovalev, Beterbiev is a real killer.

I think Stevenson will be long gone by then.

Going off tangent, Usyk at 6'3" with his speed and skills could be #1 at heavyweight once Wlad retires. IMO he's better than Povetkin. A speedy southpaw type who's tough to out box, and has a solid punch.

Beterbiev is a monster. A warrior. A destroyer type. Shades of Jack Dempsey, Mike Tyson, and Sonny Liston! He's the reason Kovalev went pro early.

I can see that, but you know, with those guys, their flame burns fast, bright and short.

I was kinda shocked what he did to Cloud, if i was his management id hurry him up the ladder asap, because once the desire goes, hell just become a puncher.

I liked what i saw of Usyk, he definitely seems a threat. Povetkin i feel is slightly underrated, but i do feel he needs to be more active and openly challenge some of the big names.

To me he seems in no hurry to make a mark, which is a shame because after Wlad, he is a strong number 2 (or Haye if he got off his ass)

People love a winner and Hopkins delivers in that regard. They also like to imagine a cloak of invincibility on their favorite fighters, and imagine that their hot streaks will never end. Dude's 50. Time to close the show.

They will both be forces in the division.

This might be a bit unpopular, but i think Hopkins is going to ruin Kovalev.

I think people love the underdog more, thats why some of the biggest wins tend to be from the underdog

    Ali/Liston
    Ali/Foreman
    Douglas/Tyson
    Holyfield/Tyson etc.

Even Sanders/Wlad is more famous because the underdog won.

I think Kovalev is a genuine talent, though.

I dunno why, but its got shades of Pavlik to it.

Some guys can take a loss and move on, some guys are never the same.

Remember Foreman, he was a monster, until Ali ruined him, then mentally he was never the same again.

I think Hopkins will win by UD.

Kovalev is vastly overrated. His resume is weak. Most importantly, his skill set and technqiue is unimpressive to me.

Yes, he has power.Hopkins too much of a savy veteran for that.

If he loses and mentally is not affected then yes he could still be a great future champion.

After watching the 24/7, i think Kovalev is a genuinely likable guy with a good story behind him and i hope he succeeds.

TBH, I like both fighters, and would not be upset with either winning.

Kovalev's also not afraid to speak his mind, like when he called Stevenson a piece of ****.
