    What are Kovalev's skills?? And to clarify, I'm not saying Kovalev isn't skilled, because he is. But I want to hear what you "deem" as skills. :D

    So again, what makes Kovalev so skilled or more skilled than Hopkins?

    kovalev never needed to showcase his extensive skills why should he when he can get you out of their by the early rounds but one thing people are underestimating about kov is he is extremely skilled also.

    He got out of being beaten more convincingly by Calzaghe, Joe would have stopped him if he hadnt faked the low blows.

    He faked injury to avoid a beating by Dawson.

    No doubt he's skilled, but he's not more skilled than Hopkins. Slick boxers will always give him fits, his power will bail him out of those situations.
