IMO Hopkins have chosen Kovalev instead of Stevenson because he saw some major weaknesses in Kovalev. It's obvious that Stevenson would've been a much dangerous fight for Hopkins due of his athleticism, explosion power, fluidity and speed. I also consider Stevenson a cagey fighter who likes to set traps to his opponent ...... and thats why B-Hopkins picked Kovalev.

    discuss.

Na it's because Adonis is a little b*tch who won't fight either. Bernard hasn't the time in him to wait until Stevenson cops on. If Hopkins does pull a miracle and beats Kovalev he will mop the floor with Stevenson.

He looks like a badass fighting someone Adonis is scared of, he's just living up to his own anti-Floyd speech about not being afraid to fight the best. He's in a win win position if he wins that's great for him, if he loses he goes out fighting the best.

I also think Kovalev is predictable and tailor-made for Hopkins. The only question is if Hopkins still has enough gas left in his tank ?:think

Stylistically, Hopkins is a really bad nightmare for Kovalev.
