This fight was what, 19-20 years ago? I'll have to go back and watch it again but I'm sure I had it close. I'll que it up tonight when I get home and report back with my scorecard...

Is Liakhovich still active? Bring on Liakhovich-Briggs II, see if Briggs really is a different fighter or he's just blowin wind out his ass. Truth is, on his best day of his life he'd be just competitive at best with Wlad, unless he can turn into a ko machine like Sanders was. It's sad cuz Briggs I think would of been a fun champ, witty, funny guy, great for tv, be on Jimmy Kimmel.

These days, Briggs doesn't have the stamina to go three close rounds with W. Klitschko. In fact, I'm not even sure the version of Briggs who lost to Ibragimov had it either.

I get the sense that this fight will indeed happen. It was already guaranteed prior to the hilarious theater ensemble.

No, Vlad will try to get Stiverne or Wilder into a ring ASAP. Vitali put Briggs into the hospital with very serious injuries. I do think that Briggs would knock Wilder out though.................

The idea of him fighting Liakhovich is good. But that´s boxing. Briggs is a clown in his own Cirkus.

I watched that fight for the first time about six months ago. I remember having Briggs by a point or two and feeling like Foreman was being given credit for 1. Briggs being tired and 2. George Foreman being George Foreman. It was a close fight. Foreman looked comfortable and lumbered around with consistency. Briggs looked winded but fought well in a few quick bursts each round.

Briggs is sad, deranged and desperate. That said it was pretty funny seeing Wlad get dumped in the drink.
