Minus the robberies, he actually did do as well. Did any of you watch Pascal vs. Bute very poor. I'm going with Kovalev by KO. Hopkins may last a bit longer than Campillo but Hopkins can dinish him with 1 shot. Murat hurt Hopkins a few times that fight was closer than the judges had it.
Forget that just watch how many shots Murat landed on Bhop. Hopkins better have his act together tonight.
That's the elephant standing in the room a lot of people seem to look past or ignore. I do think however that B-Hop would win a close decision against Campillo and that Gabriel would have lasted a bit (not much) longer if he hadn't suffered from the aftereffects of his jetlag. triangle comparisons don't always work in boxing, but on the other hand, in most cases they do.
I get the point about the triangle comparisons. Hopkins has proven with Pavlick and Taylor that he can't be written off. Maybe B-Hop can make it about skill but Kovalev not only smashed Campillo but Cleverly, Agnew, Silkah etc. He is proven. Maybe Hopkins can out box him but Kovalev can knock him out and win on points.
No he didn't. Shumenov actually touched Campillo up in the first two or three rounds, before Campillo put on a clinic. Cloud dropped Campillo twice, before Campillo put on a clinic. Hopkins played around with Murat and won a wide decision, while Campillo had a majority decision. Did Shumenov or Cloud even touch Hopkins? This whole thread is laughable.
True, but several his best shots occurred when Hopkins was chatting with Murat's corner. Lets be honest, Hopkins was messing around a lot in that fight.
I don't see where I typed he didn't. I said that Hopkins played around with Murat, while Campillo won a majority decision over him.
