Meh both fights have been poor. Clarkson looked gassed after three rounds, while Daws was against a real spoiler with a bizarre ending. Thank god for Sturm VS Steigleitz and the Adamek fight.
Wasn't the best lastnight but the tournament has produced some quality fights to be fair Dickinson Vs Clarkson and Ajisafe Vs Francis we're 2 of the best domestic fights I've seen in the last year or so
Bit of a rubbish ending but as you say the tournament threw up some very good fights. I'd like to see Mick do this with the cruiserweights or even fringe British heavyweights next year.
The referee in the Cadli (sp?) fight really pissed me off, the Jeremy Beadle lookalike. Theres no need to push a fighter Very bizarre ending and i did genuinely feel sorry for the poor fella.
Blackwell is a really good young fighter - I've said for a long while he in my opinion is the most underrated fighter in the country. I hope he catches a big break soon.
Yeah that ref is a **** Felt sorry for the kid but Daws was winning that fight was only going to go that way
i only caught the last few rounds of that fight, but after the referees actions i was actually rooting for the cadli guy, he was throwing some home run punches, the ref ruined what could have been some interesting last couple of rounds
He's had plenty of big breaks, saunders, bursak, Murray and khomisky!!! How is he underrated??? Considering the tomato cans he's beaten??? Please elaborate
