Kudos to Kovalev & to Hopkins

    Firstly I must congratulate Sergey Kovalev you were the better man on the night. You proved to me you are FOR REAL. You totally dominated Bernard & fully deserved the victory. You acted like a real champion which you are.
    Now also I'd like to congratulate Bernard Hopkins . He showed the class I know he really has. He did his best throughout the fight although the spark did not seem to be there.
    Now to the Kovalev supporters who were bleating before the fight that Hopkins would fight dirty, holding head butting etc punk out if going got tough That the referee would favour him. None of that happened Bernard stood and traded with Sergey especially in the final round & I think ya'll need to apologize to him Oh & please don't anyone suggest Sergey took it easy on Bernard he admitted he did his best to knock him out.
    I'm still proud to be a Bernard Hopkins supporter I'm proud of the way he fought. He truly is a REAL ATG. Oh & BTW Sergey has a new fan too Go Krush the so called superman Sergey:bbb:bbb:good

    it must be hard to keep supporting Hopkins, that the 9th time hes got in the ring and not been good enough to win the fight. He's also never beaten an elite opponent at a fair weight.

    Longevity to compete with B/C level fighters is the only thing he will be remembered for bar his fouling and theatrics.

    Its not hard at all to keep supporting Bernard who is a REAL top 5 ATG. You should be apologizing to him for slandering him.
    Bernard fought like a MAN which is what he is. There was no dirty fighting no ref bias. Old Father Time caught up with Bernard plus The Krusher is FOR REAL!!!
    Where do 9 losses come from for Bernard?? His only LEGITIMATE losses have been to Jones jr 1, Dawson II & now to Kovalev that's 3. Calzaghe & the 2 Taylor travesties were political decisions NEITHER legitimately beat him.
    You need to go learn something about the sport before opening your big mouth & making a fool of yourself

    Yeah, both fighters deserve credit, it was a great thing for boxing, how good the sport would be if every fighter had their mindset?

    If Hopkins fought toe to toe, man to man he'd have another 4 or 5 fights he wasn't good enough to win, his entire career has been smoke and mirrors swallowed by gullable fanboys like yourself :deal

    Dude you must be 15 years old. Hops has beaten a plethora of elite fighters and many times he was the underdog and was supposed to lose those fights.
    And I REALLY hope you're not a Floyd fan sayin that ****.

    Hopkins was only underdog in any fight because people realised how limited he was and no you are wrong he has never beaten an elite fighter at a fair weight :nono

    Floyd Mayweather is leagues above Hopkins in every department, its not even debatable to anyone who has an ounce of boxing knowledge :yep

    Bull shite he clearly lost to Taylor once, the second could have been a draw , but was definitely not a Hopkins win and he clearly lost to JC.

    Seems to me you were watching a different fight if you truly believe Hopkins stood there and traded with Kovalev.

    Whilst it was great to see Hopkins hear the final bell he was in survival mode from round 2 onwards.

    spoiling or not, i didn't think that old man hopkins would hear the final bell. that was quite an achievement for him at his age.. no other 49 yr old could do that, see the final bell against kovalev. now he must retire, though, and head off into the hall-of-fame sunset.
