I have watched Kovalev beat fighters who use the slick European style, but had no idea Kovalev knew how to box in the slick European style and put on a masterclass

There was nothing even remotely slick about Hamed. Slicksters aren't easily hit, and Hamed was.

In fact, his punching power compensated for the fact that he wasn't slick.

    Awkward? Yes. Slick? No.

Read what was wrote. Hamed had a slick style until it was tampered with.
Watch his fights with Badillo and T Johnson, and you will see he wasnt easy to hit at all

I read it, but since it was so ridiculous, I didn't bother to respond. Named was never slick defensively, regardless of who was training him. Period.

He is showing some slickness and with a fighter who has had so few fights, its surprised me how strong he has finished in his 2 distance fights

Watch Lomachenko and perhaps you'll learn what a great defensive featherweight looks like.
