I can see how you would argue gate numbers but ppv is being shown in u.s so how is the fight being in China going to effect buys? Its still being promoted in the u s.

How do you know its partly promoted? I haven't noticed a difference in promoting. The fight is also taking place in the morning in China, to ensure that Americans get the fight at normal fight time. Shows the focus is still to sell fights in u.s.

While it's not an answer per se, it does indicate that they are aware of the drop in PPV buys and the numbers still work in their favor.
