The shot that Groves put Froch down with would KO Sergey cold!

Froch was put down by a B class fighter. Groves is a nobody at the elite level, what are his accomplishments?

Hypothetically Groves could blast out anyone from 168-175 but at the same time could and against Kovalev probably be brutally taken out himself. GG- the white nigel benn.

For real after a couple of jabs to the body he will start to gas out from the punishment and the nervous pressure of being knock out again. Groves before the Froch fight might have a chance but his confidence is damaged now. Also Kovalev is on balance almost all the time he won't get hammered the same way as Froch even if his chin is not as good. For all his toughness I've seen Froch badly hurt more than once.

Kovalev got put down by Caparellos feather dusters in the first round, he could not allow himself to make the same mistakes against GG, it would be lights out!

Not sure what gives you this idea. What makes you think Froch takes a better punch than Kovalev. I have no idea if Kovalev could take that punch or not.

Froch to my knowledge was never knocked spark out in the amateurs with headgear on, or knocked down by journeymen like Boone and guys with no power like Caparello

    Groves is not that good.

Have you seen his last fight? He struggled against a C-fighter. His stamina sucks, but it won't even come into play. Kovalev will have no respect for Groves power and would blast him out in 2 rounds.

Actually, Kovalev would knock out Froch and Groves on the same night.

    1. Was he actually knocked spark out in the amateurs? I heard he got up but the ref waved it off.

    2. Do you know that the guy in the amateurs doesn't hit harder than Froch's opponents?

    3. Caparello was not a real KD. Kovalev was off balance because Caparello stood on his foot.

    4. Froch was knocked down by Taylor (a middleweight), does he hit harder than Boone?

Groves wouldn't last 4 rounds. It would be a blowout.

Froch had 0 respect for Groves and walked forward with his hands down and chin up.

As we saw Sat.. Kovalev would not let Hopkins have a free shot on him and masterfully controlled the action.

Since where on topic, how do people see Froch vs Kovalev panning out?

only reason froch went down was because he was hit square

he took many of groves shots after that and stood tall.. migh have been buzzed but nothing more
