There is a Hayemaker branded gym in Dubai. I imagine that was a licensing exercise.

who the hell pays for this crap?

The sheiks are no fools either, if they want to pay to be in the company of boxing elite, there are higher profile "friends to rent" than Haye.

His heavyweight run has been embarassing so far. A skill-less freak in Valuev in a really close fight, not throwing a single punch against Audley Harrison for three rounds, gassing badly against a fat Derek Chisora after three or four rounds, and promising everybody he would KO Wlad (only to *****-foot by the ropes and not engage, like a Jerry to a Tom) to drive PPV sales for his own pockets.

And he didn't defend the cruiserweight title, when there were fighters like Adamek, Cunningham, Thompson, Wlodarczyk and O'Neil Bell all screaming for him. He was the champion and wouldn't risk that title, jumping ship to heavy to fill his pockets.

I think Bell might've taken him into deep waters and beat him.

    This is a weak criticism.

Most of the people whinging about him will still watch his fights if they are decent match ups.

The guy's just a waste of ****ing time. The best thing he ever did was accidentally launch a tripod at Adam Booth's dome.

Not really. Many people expected Valuev to beat him.

That's not true. Feeling out round in round 1. haye threw some punches and was clearly trying to engage in round 2. Stopped him in round 3. That fight was **** because of Harrison

That was a good fight with a good build up and Haye won by impressive KO.

Everybody says they are going to win by KO, it's not always possible. You should take that stuff with a pinch of salt.

But yeah he had the talent to do much more.. if he'd have been more active and cut the fake retirements and bull**** he could have been a british great.. can't see it happening now.

I think he had a lot of believers when he took to the heavy scene,he promised lots but has lost a lot of respect the last 3 years....would have been nice to have seen him in with Pov,Pulev,Fury etc....Ive said in other threads he'll be back for Chaguev in 2015,a nice title for himself with little risk now that Chag is past prime.

I used to love haye in his early years! Unstoppable

Since he turned heavy and became a house hold name he has lost his way

Fame was the worst thing that happened to haye as a fighter.
