Round 12 of Hopkins vs Kovalev (video)

Cheers, hadnt seen round 12 as my recording cut off after 11. That was pretty brutal

 

best round for Hop but worst round too.

 

Hopking take ass woopings like men i respek him, he best of olm men to ever box but kovalev beast of all time. :good

 

Rediculous chin from Hopkins. Past kov opponents were getting starched by glancing blows.

He took about 10-15 KO shots

You see Kov shake his head I'm guessing at the shock of him still standing

 

That's what you get when you lack respect of your opponent. It's always good to see boxer playing in the ring get punished for their childness.

 

HBO commentary trying to tell you BHop has Kovalev right where he wants him.:rofl

 

He got his ass handed to him that round but somehow stayed upright.

 

Yeah that moment where Kovalev is kinda gives a little shake of his head with about 20 - 30 seconds left and looks like he's kinda swearing - like 'how the f#ck do I get this Old Guy outta here?'

Ironically Rocky 4 comes to mind 'He is not a man - he is a piece of iron' LOL.

Can't see how you can't have huge respect for Hopkins and his willingness to give it all and at least go out looking for the win. Unbelievable whiskers but I'm guessing another 20 secs would have been too much. Amazing he managed to stay on his feet 'til the bell.

 

did not get to see this fight but watching it now im suprised how many people called for a stoppage. the last 10 seconds he staggered a bit but regained and threw some punches back.. i mean it would not have been the worst stoppage but he was not out on his feet for the whole rounds like idiots were proclaiming

That's brutal and insane. He's 49 and taking flush shots from one of the biggest punchers in the sport and it's in the 12th round.
