who else was he supposed to fight? Golden boy and top rank didn't fully kissed and made up yet. Golden boy and Al Haymon has all the guys.
    his options are:
Mike Alverado - Nobody would have watched after he lost to prov
Juan Marquez - He wanted to keep the "feeling"
    Tim Bradley - No
Prov - He trains under same coach and lost

How about Cotto, Canelo, Khan, Devon, Thurman... Just off the top of my head.

Unless he fights Mayweather or Marquez again, then its all downhill financially for Manny Pacquiao.

Cotto - is training with Freddie too, and manny wont fight pass 150
Canelo - he's with golden boy, also pacquiao wants to fight at catch weight at 150, but canelo said no way.
    Khan - Al Haymon fighter
    Thurman - Golden boy

I'm not sure about Devon's situation.

I really hope it does plummet, like the Maidana II fight recently.
PPV has been nothing but a scurge for boxing and only a few have actually benefitted from it. Time to trow the whole concept overboard.

Im going out on a limb and will say it'll do 500K.

Which all in all, is not bad all things considered. Probably somewhere between 460K-540K

Why does anyone care about numbers? It's not like we actually get a piece of it so what's the use arguing who gets the most buys? It used to be all about the fight and the competition but now people are actually arguing the better fighter is the one with the bigger ppv numbers. SMH

Probably because most of the fighters and promoters.keep saying it's all about money.

It's more like a celebrity contest now.Floyd and Manny are the top celebrities.funny thing is that neither are anymore best fighter on planet.and celebrity fanatics say numbers don't lie.yes, the don't lie.they just tell who is the biggest celebrity.not the best fighter, what they don't really understand.

Me personally i don't understand why anybody sane person would pay over 50 bucks to see Floyd or Manny fight against this kind of opposition, what they are doing now.

Of course they are doing this as long as we allow them to do that.it's our fault that we give these primadonnas **** loads of money for c class fights.

It's not even about boxing anymore,it's just a rock consert.where we pay lots of money to see Floyd or Manny on the stage.

This weekend we have Wlad vs Pulev what should be bigger event.and one of the biggest this year.true HW champ fight.where number 1 performs against number 2.i wish people would put their moneys to this kind of match.instead paying to see celebrity beating some random dude.

I buy every fight now so I'm going to buy this one

I don't love the choice of opponent but I think we might get a decent fight

You shouldn't,buying this event you only support Pac agendas of fighting lesser competition and earning top money.

Pac earns top money, but for only against when it's against top opponent.

This weekend we have real top HW fight, support that.they deserve every cent instead of Pac.

We should support top fights, not the top celebrities if we want to see the best fights
