Why don't they build up Deontay Wilder like they did with Tyson?

Tyson fought like 40 people in 4 years because he barely got hit in those fights. Wilder barely takes any damage either but he only fights twice a year at most now

Tyson was a heavyweight champ at 20 and also became undisputed heavyweight champ and should have been "built-up". Let Wilder accomplish something first and then ask this question.

Cus was a well known trainer, much experience. He knew everythign about boxing. The first time that Irish dude brought a teenage Mike Tyson to Cus, he said: "He will become Heavywight champion". A natural talent. If Cus would be 20 years younger and still living today, Mike would be like Hopkins.

Wilder is a bum without skills.

This indirect comparison is invalidated by the difference in class.

Because Tyson, unlike Wilder was a legitimate world class heavyweight... That's why.

Tyson had an aura about him.
Wilder gets motivational speakers to do his verbal fighting for him.

A few really, REALLY stupid people try to build him up but everyone with half a brain can see that Helen Keller could beat most of the guys he fights. Tyson actually had some skill and fought good opposition for the time.

Wilder has fought better opposition to get his title shot than Tyson did back in the day. And that's a fact although people won't admit that, they're afraid.

This is true. Wilder even performed better against his opponents up to his title shot. Tyson struggled with a bum like James Tillis and a guy with padded record like Mitch Green.

I'm not suggesting Wilder is better but these are the facts.
