Tyson vs. Lennox took years to make because of the HBO/Showtime network dispute, so Tyson should actually be able to relate to the situation in many respects. "It shouldn't have taken him that long to fight Tyson/Lennox" was repeated multiple times back then, so this is sort of interesting... Fighters always take the opportunity to boast about their former glory. That is all this is and all it ever is when long retired fighters sling mud at other fighters.

Kovalev wins one of the biggest outcomes of the year. Mayweather is the biggest topic of discussion. Got to love the predictability and the hatred.

Kovalev has claimed to be willing to undergo stricter-than-required drug tests, and if that is indeed true, than I don't see what the issue would be. Just a year ago Mayweather moved up to JMW to face the best fighter in that division. The problem with this would be that Kovalev is and would theoretically still be signed on to HBO and that's when and why it gets complicated.

i'm with you on this but the public still cares immensely for some strange reason. I lost interest when Floyd went to jail. the fight should had happened early 2010 then it really should and was all set up to be Floyd v pac instead we got cotto because someone wouldn't fight Floyd.

I'm completely over it, I don't think Floyd beating pac means anything anymore. pac doesn't have anywhere near the hype he used to have and the fight doesn't even make money sense for Floyd anymore. it would have to be at worst 60/40 which wouldn't even be a top 3 money fight for Floyd.

I think Floyd thinks the same thing, he was put through the ringer so many times by pac I clearly see him as saying PHUCK pac and his team. ariza has been saying the same thing since prior to being canned by team pac.

which is, arum will NOT let many fight Floyd until its his absolute last fight. I think pac is going to look like garbage again against chris, a fighter that should be easy work for someone that is supposedly a true top 5 WW.

i'm NOT saying pac loses to chris, I am saying he will look like garbage and possibly struggle. chris is training his behind off and pac hasn't been able to fight for 3 mins per round since the roid accusations, go figure.

pac will tire and look like garbage. if pac doesn't get him out within the first 6 rounds it'll be anyones fight to win or lose.

only problem is chris would have to totally outclass him to get a close dec loss never mind a win. to get the W chirs would almost have to literally khtfo. but really, would need a couple KD's and win most of those remaining rounds
