Can't see Wlad going for the KO.
Pulev's jab will keep him at bay.

Trying to think how I would go about winning this fight if I were Pulev.
Jab to the body all night, wear the big guy down then take him out after he gasses.
Jabbing to the face will be costly. He'll just get beat to the punch and most won't even connect.

His body? Bigger target.
Do some damage of his own with his jab and hope his chin stands up to the risk.
I could see Pulev causing an upset if he stuck to that game-plan.

I don't think he'll implement it though.

 

If only Pulev had a tad more power I really believe it could be an exciting match,I expect Wlad to win over 12 but all I hope is for Pulev to give it a go.....he's not gonna get a shot at Wlad again anytime soon and he's proven himself against a few top 10's already.

Wladimir should try to employ a more entertaining fight plan this weekend, if possible. He's on HBO again now, where GGG and Kovalev handle their business in crowd pleasing fashion these days. Plus, Pulev lacks the power to even trouble him. He should showcase more of his offense here, hopefully.

 

I will be VERY surprised if Pulev lands anything on Wlad that even remotely troubles him.

Wlad will win a boring 12 round jab and grab UD. I hope Pulev makes it a dirty fight since Wlad cheats. But like every other Euro fighter Pulev will be nice and let Wlad hold him for 12 rounds. Wlad is pathetic.

 

Pulev has a 55% KO ratio and has fought about 2 OK guys. The rest were no hopers on 3 days notice there to collect a paycheck.

Yeah that screams power puncher to me.

 

You got to remember, ustinov and Thompson take a better punch than octopus man.
