    straight up

Canelo is the PPv star, did 2 million PPv buys

    GGG never been on PPv

Canelo also has beat the better fighters (Trout, Lara,Angulo)

    Didn't GGG say ANYONE 154-168?

He should have no problem fighting THEE GUY @154 right?

Well if he fights Cotto its going to be at sixty, right? And he can barely make fifty four now anyways. So if he beats Cotto at sixty it wont make sense to try and get GGG to move down. I think Canelo is going to be in a tough spot. He ran even and could not win convincingly vs Lara or Trout at fifty four, at sixty he may look even more ordinary. I know they would love to do Chavez vs Canelo and I could see Canelo moving to sixty eight just for that fight, assuming Haymon doesnt sabotage it. Canelo would do that first, move to sixty eight and cash out before taking on GGG. But I do think he would fight GGG after that and at sixty.

But GGG vs Canelo at fifty four it isn't going to happen.

Canelo will be the shot caller yes... but Canelo couldn't make 154 in either of his last 2 fights.

Yep Canelo himself would want the fight at 160 so he can be as fresh as he can

If I was Nelo I would go to 160. Fight more comfortably.

Eh, I think it depends on what style Cotto comes out with. If Cotto goes search and destroy Nelo excels as the counter puncher. If Cotto makes it a boxing match Nelo doesn't have the footwork or speed to match pace with Cotto. I'll wait and see.

SHould be a classic! I think Canelo is not ready though. Strongest puncher hes ever faced, one of the fastest, best body puncher hes ever faced, and Cotto has the better trainer. Will be a war but Canelo will have to pull out everything to win

i think you are 100% correct but if he takes on GGG in his first fight at 160.. the man becomes ATG in the category of cahonas (and somehow people still want to hate on him?)

At this point GGG probably makes 154 easier than Canelo does... Other than that, Canelo is the bigger draw so yes he can definitely impose some terms of the contract.
