i watched the fight. marquez landed plenty of clean body shots and mayweather was laughing at it. mayweather paid cash to come in over the weight limit, so he got what he wanted. marquez shouldn't have gone ahead with the fight, but he got the cash he wanted. so.. that fight is nothing but a skid mark on the sport.
He did not land plenty of clean body shots. They were almost all blocked or partially blocked. Floyd outclassed the guy who went on to beat Pac twice. But a skid mark for you...
No, as I said earlier it was only after Floyd Marquez was on them. The answer was because Casamayor was even more faded!
Well, take the Diaz victories or Katzidis or Pac. Fact is that he put on sterling performances around that time. And has there been any proof whatsoever of him taking roids after Floyd?
Guilt by association, eh? Hmmmm Has he ever actually tested positive for PED's, or are these merely the ramblings of bad loser ******* types?
when did I say he was guilty? (i think he was for pac 4 but i'm not a judge and can't pronounce guilt) every professional sportsman is under question simply because that is the reality of professional sports, no one has to say anything anywhere. Lance armstrong proved beyond any doubt that not failing tests is no indicator of not doping. (not specifically aimed at you)The whole general view of ped's is ridiculous to me. do we really believe that so many pro fighters have legit prescriptions for low test? or that most every pro cyclist has a legit prescription for their astma inhaler? or that the nfl dropped amphetamines and weed(masking agent) from the ped list to the recreational list because all the players are too honest too use them for performance reasons?
suspicion by association is very valid. Sara Erani(tennis) was having the season of her life in 2012, during '13 was revealed to be working with a known ped doctor, never failed a test but pretty quickly returned to the same level she was at before '12, with a visually noticable drop in her speed, power and endurance.
A good win at best. Mayweather was better defensively, a better counterpuncher, more accurate with his punches, and an overall better boxer. A Stylistic mismatch in Mayweather's favor.
Hired a known steroid dealer, a guy that was known for helping guys cheat and get away with it. Looked more ripped and stronger than ever since he started working with him plus the sudden burst of acne on his back coupled with new improved punching power dropping Pacquiao like a sack of potatoes from a punch that he hit Pacquiao with countless times in their previous fights with little effect. Thats all very suspicious to me plus i dont think a guy that used to drink his own urine cause he thought it gave him some kind of advantage/edge on his fights would draw the line on peds. Only someone very gullible will believe that Marquez wasnt cheating at that time, but to each his own i guess.
