I know he did. But your knowledge of the word is somewhat diffrent from the context of Roy's usage and understanding of the word. Hence, Intentional Butthead atsch.
Roy Jones Jr. has a tiny little head. I can see him over there chuckling at ringside after those shots landed. He better watch it, that glass jaw might shatter if he chuckled too much
You don't think Roy is fully aware of whether or not the word is appropriate to use on live TV for a national audience?
Obviously, since he used it in a context of appraisal, he didn't think people would actually ***** about it. And none has. Apart from you. atsch
Oh yes he did!atsch But other than that he praised Hopkins of his courage and great chin. But anyway was weird, lol. These guys have history. Do you guys remember that phone call when Roy was still on the top? It was hilarious.
Why don't you link all the outrage for all to see? I don't do Twitter. Have you signed a petition or something? Is there one?
Um, no, I'm not, since that is a valid word completely unrelated to (just phonetically similar to) an epithet...whereas **** itself does have a history of that usage.
Context. I suggest reading up on the usage of the word and maybe appreciate why Jones used the word in the context of his appraisal. But really, your faux outrage is equivalent to having a wank with a limp dick.:good
**** isn't a word you can pick and choose when to use based on context in today's world. Roy Jones isn't some out of touch 90 year old. He may well have not meant anything by it, but it absolutely was a blunder in judgment on his part and you can bet your ass every HBO exec that overhead it cringed, hard. His fellow commentators must have been squirming like mad.
I agree with this there was no malicious intent he just grabbed for the wrong word it was cringe worthy but an honest mistake. He should of said a sky old mongoose or fox etc. As for Roy chuckling he did in the last ten seconds of the final round when his co-announcer said Bernard is being beaten from Pillar to post.
"Are we interpreting English speaking trainers now?" RJJ is entertaining and speaks his mind. I don't think he meant anything with the **** word. Hope he stays on.
