    I rate Mayweather higher.
I feel Floyd has a greater resume overall.
Who are these tougher fighters P4P that people feel Hopkins has fought compared to Floyd?
Floyd has beaten greats in weights they are effective in like Cotto and De La Hoya and beaten many HOFers who have been champs in more than one weight division like Judah, Gatti, Hatton, Maidana, Chavez, Then look at the other names like Corrales, Hernandez C&G, Castillo other good contenders like Juuko, Manfredy, Ndou.

Hopkins has been very impressive for his age, but to me Floyd has a greater resume and effectively gone through 5 weight divisions

    Hopkins Resume:
    - Wins over Trinidad, DLH, Tarver, RJJ, Winky, Pascal, Johnson, Pavlik.
    - Oldest boxing champion ever.....that will NEVER be broken.
    - 20 MW title defenses
    - Unified LHW titles

    Mayweather Resume:
    - Wins over Cotto, Castillo, Corrales, DLH, Judah, Mosley, Marquez, Hatton.
    - Undefeated
    - 5 division champ

Both great resumes. However ask yourself this:
What will Hopkins be remembered for? A great boxer who took on all challenges and defied the odds when it came to age.

What will Mayweather be remembered for? A great boxer with amazing skills but never wanted to face the biggest threat of his career in Pacquiao.

I find it amazing that Mayweather's fans can still back him and say "Manny should've taken the test". That crap was in 2008 fellas. Manny has agreed to everything since 2010. Get with the program.

Forget all that stuff. Just watch them both workout in the gym. The difference is astronomical. No comparison. Money is by far the superior athelete & boxer. It's like comparing Harold Miner to MJ...

So your gauging them by their gym workouts :rofl

Mayweather also took a 2 yr vacation. Hopkins at the age of 49 just held 2 of the 4 LHW titles !

MJ also never ducked Bird ,Johnson or even Isaiah who were some of his greatest rivals !

Hopkins first 15 fights were in the light heavyweight division

    - trinidad career welterweight, 3-3 at 160 and above
    - Oscar at 160 - really? even Sturm embarassed oscar at 160 :rofl
    - winky at 175 - really? :rofl
    - Johnson - smashed around as a journeyman at 168
    - Tarver - american hype job, good 2 weight jump though - hopkins best win
    - Pavlik - 160 champ who Hopkins forced up to 170 :rofl
    - RJJ - really? :rofl
    - Pascal - not good enough to win a belt at 168, Hopkins needed 2 attempts - good win considering is age but yet again another B/C level victory on hopkins resume

Now add 9 fights that Hopkins wasn't good enough to win. And you're really comparing this bull**** to Floyd Money Mayweather - it don't add up :nut

If anyone should be banned its YOU. Punk Mayweather isn't fit to carry Bernard Hopkins jock strap.
Youre right about a couple of things that Floyd does better than Nard
1... Mayweather is the #1 cherry picking coward in boxing today

2... Mayweather is the biggest cry baby :|:| EVER in the sport

3... Mayweather should be named Pinnichio Mayweather after all the blatant lies him & his family spewed He should have a nose as long as a baseball bat:rofl

Bernard is a bona fide ATG Floyd is a talented wannabee coward :hi::hi:

That Hopkins fought everyone is total bull ****

He managed to only fight Roy Jones and lost but there was McClellan, Julian Jackson, Benn, Toney, Steve Collins, Eubank, Quincy Taylor, Terry Norris etc and he fought none of them

Hopkins won the IBF title in an era that was red hot from the early 90's until the late 90's when it was clear he was the best in the weight class left

His best wins at the weight are over undersized ODLH and Trinidad both started at 140 or lower....Past prime John David Jackson

People give him a lot of credit for his success at an advanced age and his middleweight defenses "record" but he never broke any true record considering he only defended the true middleweight title 6 times and his opponents were average to mediocre

Comparing their skills in the ring, ability to adapt, their opposition, championships won, etc ...Mayweather has a notable edge and its taking nothing away from Hopkins
