He's trying way too hard to be the no nonsense tough guy who speaks his mind and doesn't sugar coat things, but then blows up at Buncey because he called him out for saying he'd die in the ring and then bottled it against Stevenson.

He may well walk through Cleverly at the weight, but given Clev has beaten him before and isn't losing the plot every time a camera is put in front of him I find it weird that Bellew is seen as the slight favourite in this.

 

He is trying too hard.

That said, he is selling the fight more than Cleverly. Just like how Groves sold the fight and second fights with Carl Froch.
