You can see who's voted, and if you've been here a while, you know who the knowledgeable and respectable posters are.

Only three people out of over 200 have picked Kov to win on points.

    That speaks volumes.

What I've typed isn't rubbish, and I can assure you that I do indeed have a clue when it comes to Roy's career.

So come back when you have more time, and we'll debate further.

Prime Roy was a middleweight soon as a little man like that gets hit by a big 175lb puncher like Sergey it's over

I'm giving him the opportunity to have a good debate with no trolling.

I don't like Joe as a person, but I can have an objective debate about his career.

well if its about joe cal, I suspect joe gets stopped by ko4clev.

except in wales, where the welsh ref carries floored joe back to his corner. When ko4clev emerges for the next round, he slips on some calzaghe juice and ref stops fight by tko for joe.

when joe recovers, he jumps up n down whoopin.

    naa just kidding.

joe'd never go near ko4clev until sergey was 40+.

Its a tough one... I know it would have been one hell of a fight... I still have some questions about Kovalev... If I had to give an answer I would say Joe outworks him down the stretch of a fight that was a complete war.

Right, but Kov impressed everyone by being extremely disciplined, and sticking to a game plan.

If you watched the fight, Kov didn't go for the knockout.

    That's what surprised many people.

He was calm and composed and he took his time.

Nobody expected him to fight in that manner, which was reflected in the polls.

It's clear that if Kov had've forced the issue, he could have gotten him out of there.

Now you can't compare fighting a peak version of Roy in his 20's, to a near 50 year old Hopkins.

Hopkins didn't possess Roy's speed and power.

Which meant that Kov had no respect for his power, and could keep walking forward.

We've heard what Hopkins has said after the fight.

He got outboxed because he had to fight defensively because of Kov's power.

But IMHO, Kov could not have outboxed Roy in the same manner. Which makes a points loss extremely unlikely, especially as Roy held many advantages over him.

Kovalevs footwork was good, but also his timing was good and I think that timing would be one of the deciding factors if Kov had of fought Roy

It's not going to upset anyone though is it?

You know that we all often go off topic on here.
