Lubin down in round 1, really not impressive, looks a division bigger than Gonzalez here

I hope after this Lubin gets dragged to the gym and has SERIOUS work on his defense. He's fun, promising and has some nice tools but...**** me teach that kid about defense!

Gonzalez is a solid test for someone at Lubin's stage of development, but he is landing simply too much clean.

Dammit I did the Lubin thread because it was requested, I didn't really believe in him

There's a place in the boxing world for athletic sluggers. :good

He'll never outbox a Charlo brother or anything, but he can fine tune a bit as he gets more experience.

Situations like tonight will help, actually. Demonio Gonzalez is perfect: guaranteed to go the distance, not super dangerous himself (although Lubin obviously learned he can be dropped by him and not to go totally reckless)

Lubins style reminds me of Rafael "Bazooka" Limon.

He needs to work on his defence. He is very fun to watch, but a good counter puncher would knock him out right now.

He's okay, not too enthusiastic about him, not enthusiastic about the Charlo Brothers either.

I need to start putting Asterisks next to the prospects I truly believe in.
