Not sure what Sky are showing but there are some spicy fights on the Macklin undercard..

don't miss the monster of grudge matches- Anthony Fitzgerald v Spike O'Sullivan. This one has been brewing for five years and dwarfs Bellew Cleverly for bad blood...

here is a promo video http://www.irish-boxing.com/video-civil-war-anthony-fitzgerald-v-spike-osullivan-video-promo/

and things got up close and personal at the final presser

Declan Geraghty v Jono Carroll, might not make TV is shaping up to be a good bout too. Its only a four rounder but there is a prizefighter spot up for grabs . Geraghty is a two weight am champ but by all accounts Carroll has looked impressive in the build up- both are talking a good game too:

Yafai has a credible opponent there...could be his first real test...

Why is crolla fighting a 6 rounder???

Surely he's on to the euro/world scene by now?

I'm interested to see how Nevin looks.
Didn't he get his leg broken awhile back?

No, he got BOTH his legs broken.
By his cousin. With a golf club. In a traveller family feud.

Yeah he did, he's now moved over to the states to train... basically to keep him out of trouble and on the right track, if he wants to make it big time he needs to avoid **** like that at all costs.

His fight last night summed up the term 'gimme fight' - he was about 1000 levels above & bulldozed him.

I know it was on an Irish card being shown on Sky, so with it being early in his pro career they wanted him to look good... but hopefully there's no more of that and we see him in fights in which he'll shown himself to look good but also learn as well.

Fitzgerald v Spike O'Sullivan were kissing & cuddling afterwards as usual, can't hate each other that much.
