I felt the scorecards were out of whack. Alexander was much busier but he basically hit gloves and arms all night. Kotelnik had many sharp punches land clean. Much closer fight than the scorecards indicated.
Kotelnik was a good underated fighter. Many feel he looked unlucky to Mbaye, Alexander and Witter. He gave all of them big problems and has the win over Maidana
Kotelnik paid the price for jeopardizing the marketability of Alexander-Bradley, which had already been signed. It was this fight that led to King blackballing him, effectively ending his career after a performance that should've been the gateway to more network and high-profile fights.
Khan barely squeaked past Maidana, where as Alexander literally shut him out. So surely Alexander should beat Khan? According to your triangle theory.
Khan was beating maidana well until round 10 where he was caught by a big shot , kotelnik Alexander and kkhan kotelnik was more of a pure boxing match which will be the same when khan alexander face off so it does tell you a little more. It's about styles but it's doesn't matter too much anyways as khan is changing his style with Virgil ,
