Define broke. Rich people broke and regular people broke are 2 different things.

 

Extortion is why so many boxers lose all their money. Mike Tyson got charged with **** and then raped repeatedly by legal fees. A lot of boxers get accused of stuff after they make a lot of money and then have to pay the accuser to stay quiet.

Roy Jones Jr on the other hand has done everything right financially speaking. He's never going to be broke because he bought a farm and has $20 million in the bank right now.

He might not be as rich as some others due to inflation, taxes, etc, but he's not ever going to be poor. The interest on 20 million can take care of his needs for life.

 

Bernard Hopkins has about the same amount of money as Roy Jones Jr but no one is calling Bernard Hopkins broke. No one is saying Bernard Hopkins is in need of money to explain why he is taking on tough fights.

 

Hopkins brain is broke after that ass whipping he took by the Russian.

 

Roy Jones jr. has a tiny little head. I would imagine his bank account is a tad tiny now too.
