It'll be an outside fight, so Wlad will win.

Pulev will do no better than Chagaev, although I rate Pulev.

Wlad by accumulation stoppage in 10.

It would be a bold person who picked Pulev.

Pulev is a big boned man with good skills and mobility. Wlad is 38 with a pregnant fiancé. He could be a little distracted. I think Pulev has a shot for an upset if he is willing to risk opening up on offense.

My pick is Wlad via decision. Wlad has too much skill experience and power. No man can past his jab either 9-3 on the cards.

Flea: Yeah, I looked at the Chagaev fight thinking about this one too. But Pulev is a good deal more upright so you have to wonder what the plan is tactically. Chagaev's efforts in shuffling forwards all tidy under the jab birthed exactly one chance for him. I think the differences will be more important than the similarities here.

Janitor: Lots of brave souls next door then!

Mendoza: Where is the lassie situated? Is she in the US? Got to wonder where son of Wlad is going to grow up, which nation he is going to belong to.

I used up my brave pick on Hopkins...Wlad by decision. Cheers to McGrain for putting up the thread...

I'm going with Pulev via UD. He's gonna do it!

Wlad is based in south Florida. He's fiancé is an actress and American. Wlad broke up with her for a while before buying a huge ring. She 's 24 or so. Wlad can get laid like a stud race horse so perhaps this is true love for him.

I would say guess the child would be born here. Who knows what will happen to the Ukraine. Putin is very dangerous.

Wlad to lose a decision? I Highly doubt that. 30 to 1 against. Remember Pulvev did not pay his sanctioning fees and he's not winning a close fight in Germany.

How would he even make it close? I like Pulev, but he's not out-boxing Wladimir. The knockout is his way to the title, surely?

You have no idea how many beautiful women descend upon south Florida.

Wlad is a big time player here. But now he has one that he can't kick out of the gym.

Yeah, and Pulev isn't all that as a puncher.

He looks different on fight night doesn't he? Like a BAMF. I remember Lewis, almost asleep absolutely still during the referee's instructions in the dressing room...Wlad, he looks like he's at a business meeting standing there with a blank face. I imagine being in the dressing room before one of those fights would be quite something, more perhaps than his immediate predecessors.

I think Vlad by decision but if Pulev takes chances he could make this interesting.

In order to win Pulev has to take chances and press action

Vlad has to fight the style he used against Haye, aggressive boxing and pace himself

both men have late power if they get there
