Duran wins per sure; however, it is not a cakewalk at all.

Boom Boom doesn't go down quietly. His courage and resilience keeps him in the trenches giving as good as he gets until the very last rounds.

Eventually, Duran prevails thanks to his superior fighting abilities and ring generalship.

Duran by late stoppage or UD, but he doesn't get away smelling of roses neither.

It was mentioned in the Duran vs Mayweather thread and was about just as relevant.

In fantasy Duran fights, his opponents usually grow several inches in height and regardless of style will be comparable to Leonard and Benitez.

For this fight, Boom Boom will becoming in at 5'10" minimum.

The enlarged part is correct. The underlined part is no more than wishful thinking. Mancini would be little more than a punch bag for a 135 Duran.

It would end with Ray in very bad shape physically.

He would be unconscious in at the most 3 rds. Duran was a killer at lightweight and for some bizarro (pun) reason, all these dreamfights have the fighters going against him lasting the distance. For my money, whether is be the boomer, whitaker, mayweatehr, arguello, chavez,, anyone that fights Duuuuuuurrrrrraaaaannnnnn at lightweight in 15 rds gets KOd. Boom Boom gets slaughtered and put to sleep early.

No, Mancini was too tough to get put away in 3 rounds by anybody. Far lesser fighters than Ray last more than 3 rounds with Duran at lightweight.

Mancini would last about 8-9 rounds before getting stopped.

He'd just take a bad whupping along the way.

All depends on his chin. The better it is, the longer he stays around.

So did he KO every fighter in all the fights that he had at Lightweight?

Most of the title fights yes. Fighters who ran might have made it to the end and fighters, such as De Jesus, who had a great chin and a great left hook, but be able to trade with him for 5-6 rounds, before he started to take over, but let's remember he was 63-1 when he left the division.

Either way, there's certainly not a long list of fighters you'd pick, even to go the distance, over Duran at lightweight when he was trained and wanting to take a fighters head off. He's not called Hands of Stone for nothing.
