Tentative jabs by Fitzgerald. O'Sullivan is ripping into Fitzgerald immediately with uppercuts and hooks up top and banging around past Fitzgerald's tucked and folded right arm. O'Sullivan starts to launch bombs from down by his thighs, headhunting and overpowering Fitzgerald in the middle of the ring. Fitzgerald tries mixing with him but is caught by an uppercut on the chin, affecting his balance, legs stiffening, punches coming loose off trajectory, eyes glassing. More uppercuts by O'Sullivan, bowling him over!

Fitzy had not only gone a full 10 each with Andy Lee, Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam, and touted Irish amateur star (though kind of a bust in the pros) Eamonn O'Kane in their rematch, but actually deserved the nod over Lee...and perhaps, arguably, O'Kane in their Prizefighter 3-rounder first encounter.

 

O'Sullivan is calling out Macklin. :bbb
