I'm not a Klitchko hater, but I have to say it looks like Klitschko's gloves are taped in a way to press the padding/make it harder where his fist is. I have never seen tape as high on the actual glove as it looks on his gloves. Than again I could be entirely wrong.
Mentioned this in the RBR thread. Never seen Wladimir's gloves like that before and I've seen nearly every single one of his professional bouts. At any rate, there's a re-broadcast on HBO later if anyone is paying attention. (not like it matters at this point).
Well being I pointed it out within 30 seconds of seeing on on my TV, then I would be the one that pointed it out.
weird how high the tape is up the glove http://cache2.asset-cache.net/gc/45...8oTDXVsNntjiJXecyffBSJphBTaqtbj7OMQEyvsu+6g==
I like to assume that all things are on the up an up with such a big world title belt, but the different in tape was enough for me to notice and it appeared to me it caused the padding to be bunched/shaved. It could have just been how it looked on TV, and I don't think Klitschko would stoop to that level if I was being honest with myself. Maybe it was just the way they had to tape those particular gloves.
I covered myself with my "of course I could be entirely wrong" part, lol. Just saying, it looked entirely different to what I'm used to saying and I thought I'd point it out. Of course I'm sure someone on Team Pulev would have said something if they thought it was fishy.
I don't know about everyone else here, but how his gloves were taped stood out to me at first glance (didn't make any accusations about shaved gloves). His gloves just looked unusual compared to the way they were taped in previous fights, especially the left. He has also dropped the Grants, which is the brand he used for years.
not near as bad as MAB http://www.pound4pound.com/Photos/BretNewton/2006/BarreravsJuarezII/BarreravsJuarezII45.jpg
