    Vitali retired Lemmux @ 37.

Wlad destroyed a young new HW contented at the age of 38 in Pulev.

This clearly puts him above Lemmux in the ATG HW rankings.

And Wlad looks to rain for another 2-3 years as the HW king pin.

We are looking at greatness here chaps, appreciate it.:deal

    Wlad's lucky Lewis did retire.
If he didn't this debate about Lewis vs Wlad would be a moot point because Lewis would have already knocked his ass out.

Lennox took the smart route in staying retired. Vitali would have annihilated him in the rematch. He also turned down several huge money fight opportunities against both brothers over the years. He's a smart man.

Vitali battered Lemmux and won the event. God knows what Wlad would of done to Lemmux.:deal

Old, fat Lennox punched a new orifice in Vitalis face, any version of Lennox destroys prime versions of both Klits

Wlad is greater than Lennox. Wlad is beating undefeated young lions while Lemmux for the most part feasted on washed up old legends.

This thread makes me think just how annoying Klitards would be if Lewis never did a number on the better brother.

If Lewis never faced Vitali, he'd no doubt in every Klitards mind destroy Prime Lewis without any problems.

Boxers reach their prime and decline at different ages. Wlad continuing to perform at an older age than Lewis does not in and of its self make him better than Lewis. Head to head would still take Lewis but Klitschkos streak is incredibly impressive

Why did LL avoid Wlad in 2000 & 2001 when Wlad was his mandatory?

    Wlad was irrelevant in 2000 & 2001.
Lewis never fought Ruiz also. Was he avoiding him to?

It kind of reminds me of the Khan fans who talk incessantly about how "Khan was beating the brakes off of Garcia...until Garcia landed that super-lucky-one-in-a-billion left hook".

TKO6 doesn't count to them because Vitali was "winning, and won the event".

He was the WBO champ and an Olympic Gold Medalist. How was he irrelevant?

    Ross Puritty knocked him out.

Putting a guy who gets knocked out by bums does not belong in the same ring as arguably the greatest heavyweight in history.
    Belt holder or not.

WBO belt meant absolutely nothing than. I never knew it existed.
Like, I'm just reminding myself who actually held that belt during that time.
    Akinwande? Herbie Hide?
