who is more technically skilled; prime Wladimir Klitschko or prime Antonio Margarito?

    I'll go first; Margarito is much better on the inside.

    Who has the better jab? Better timing? Better at controlling distance? Better punch accuracy? Better ring generalship?

    Bokaj made the claim that Margarito was far more technically skilled than Wladimir. Not me.

    I saw that exchange with Bokaj in the other thread and chuckled, and wondered if you were going to make a separate thread on it. :lol: :good

    I really am curious what exactly transpired in his mind if he does believe that. Does he somehow equate throwing body punches in bunches (which of course Wlad almost never does, and Tony is known to do liberally) with being 'technically skilled'? I can't think of any logical reason to purport that Margarito is more technically skilled. There are things he does that Klitschko doesn't (and of course vice-versa), but none that would lead one to such a conclusion as that.

    The guy is a crank. He only picks up on minute mistakes of fighters that threaten his point of view, i.e could possibly be called better than Floyd Mayweather.

    With Wlad, I think he's just wound up that a lot of classic posters are praising him but they don't praise the fighters he likes.

    Basically he's like a child crying "Why won't they play with ME?"

    Used to be one of the guys I respected the most, funnily enough. I hope we can turn a corner soon, this bickering isn't healthy.
