Strange they always wait to revoke it once scotts announced a planned date or more recently his new promotional deal , Scotts no angel but seems theres a hidden agenda with the bbboc if u ask me !!!!
Scott wont worry he has won 2 world titles, and only lost one of 11 world title fights, come back to me when Crolla beats that ! I like Crolla, I hope he wins, but don't think he will. Styles make fights, yes it can at an elite level, but when its a guy that is at 'world level' against a journeyman it should not matter, he should stop guy. Not only that Crolla never hurt guy once
Mitzi was a shy novice when Scott got him hes certainly filled out since then , went the distance with Flanagan Marsilli and Crolla plus hes highly active as a journeyman , i think scott just got the lad at the right time mate when inexperienced
Guy had confidence of an unbeaten fighter then. He never done much different against Crolla than against Scott except pulled his shorts up lol. Difference was against Crolla he was not getting pinned in corners, against Scott he had the quality footwork to corner boy and unleash heavy body shots in combinations.
Exactly. He is only boxer I have heard of that had his license revoked for falling to make the weight once for a fight (and he told them a week or two before fight that he wasn't making weight, were as Rocky Fielding and many others have turned up and weighed in half a stone over and have not been banned)
Personally i think this latest setback with his licence is the last straw and signals the end for Scott unfortunately and i dont think we will see him in a ring again in a professional boxing match
Scott never got his licence revoked for not making the weight, yes only 6 days notice was given coz he couldn't shift from 9-9lbs and at the time was burning into muscle, no licence was revoked though
It was certainly suspended on that basis at very least Billy. Which was a disgrace, he properly fought as hard as any British Champ to make weight, and always did, until then. And he never failed on scales, and should never have had license suspended or revoked (he lost his world title because of it, more than enough punishment)
I don't know what you've been told or heard but that's not the reason he lost his title. I've never in all the time as peters assistant or by myself seen anyone having struggle to make weight like Scott did, so for him to achieve what he did was excellent
Scott has mentioned it before on twitter, and here is a story at time in Herald supporting that http://www.heraldscotland.com/hughes-suspended-but-there-is-better-news-for-harrison-1.902997
