I'd say he's hard/very hard to outbox. And he doesn't fight on the inside. So yeah, he's difficult to beat.

So he's a coward also. I can certainly see why his health come first nowatsch.

 

In terms of size, speed, strength and punching power he stands alone. Added to that he boxes very smart and well. I expect him to beat Joe Louis record of defenses. Wlad has another good 5 years left in him if he really wants maybe even more.

 

the division is getting very hot eg Fury's,Parker,Joshua,Uysk, and then in the amatuers Omarov, Medzhidov, Savon,Dychko, in 5 years time an aging Wlad might find the going very tough

 

If he had a decent chin, he wouldn't box as cautiously as he does. He has awesome skills and physical tools, but he fights ultra cautious, limiting his punches to those which do not expose his chin. The one time I remember he actually got hit in the last 10 years was against Wach and he was clearly shaken up. His chin is poor, I struggle to think how anyone can deny it. Stopped inside the distance 3 times and knocked down 11 times in his career, those numbers speak for themselves.

 

If he had an iron chin, he'd be unbeatable.

If George Chuvalo had great boxing ability, he'd be unbeatable too.

Fact is: Lewis would have easily outboxed him and knocked him spark out. :yep

 

Go back and watch that Wach moment again. Wait for the reverse angle slo mo replay after the round. Wach, a 270+ heavyweight, hits Wlad right down the pike with a lead right hand, snapping Wlads head back. Now, in the replay watch Klitschkos eyes as he is slipping and blocking Wachs attempted follow up attack. He is totally clear, not seeming to be hurt the least, doesnt get hit with a single follow up shot and is in total control of himself the whole time.

Lewis would have to make it dirty and destroy Wlad on the inside with hooks when the octopus is trying to hug him.

Lewis would never land anything from the outside. Wlad's control of range is way too good.

 

Wach's knock out ratio is barely above 50%, so he isn't a big hitter by any means, so his weight is totally irrelevant, he isn't a not a powerful puncher. The right hand wasn't particularly vicious either and Wlad went to the ropes straight away (which he never does) and just covered up for the remainder of the round until the bell rang. It was smart boxing, but Just shows that Wlad himself has no confidence in his chin.

Don't you think that 3 stoppages inside the distance and 11 knock downs indicate a weak chin?
