Better nickname: " Hitman" or the " Motor City Cobra?"

"Hitman" of course.............it rolls off the tongue better.

 

I used to like the motor city cobra but when they switched it to Hit Man the term was not used as much as it is these days

 

The Motor City Cobra was pretty good,but the Hitman name defined his Right handed power.

i prefer the motor city cobra, sounds cool and weve had a bunch of hitmen but only 1 mc cobra(i think)

 

So bad ass he needed two of the most bad ass names in the sport.

Funny how time changes things; back then I hated Hearns; the jheri curl (I mean come on, who could blame me there?), the whole Kronk "team" concept.......kinda reminded me of the doucheyness of the villains in the Karate Kid movie, that all fought out of that one evil guy's gym. To me, boxing was an individual sport, that's why I liked it. Kronk took that idea and turned it on its head with their gold trunks and rah-rah team concept. Just rankled the **** out of me.

Now I see that Hearns was as upstanding and brave and just as much a warrior as those I admired; I just needed to see it in the rear-view mirror I guess.

 

I think to recall that worldwide Hearns was known mostly as "Hitman"... "Motor City Cobra" was not as much used outside the US

I like both, but I'm leaning towards the MCC.

 

I loved both nicknames. Both summed up a pretty 'Superbad' image.
