I'm pretty sure there were a few of them, but they probably don't appear in the ring's "annual" ratings. But some of those guys who fell early had to have been ranked either by the ring in the month that it happened or by some of the alpha organizations.

Naw even a young, pre Steward Wlad would knock him spark out. Ruddock doesn't have the fast hands and counterpunching ability of Sanders to catch Wlad early.

His real chance would be to absorb a hellacious beating and let Wlad punch himself out. Judging from his Tyson, Lewis and Morrison fights, Ruddock doesn't have the punch resistance anywhere close to a Purrity or Brewster to accomplish such a feat..

I find myself agreeing with the majority of your posts, almost regardless of the topic. Probably need to get that cheked.

I have nothing to verify it but I'm almost positive that Ray Austin had to have been ranked by "somebody", weather it be the ring's monthly ratings or one of the WBS organizations.

Perhaps. But the Morrison fight is an irrelevant gauge to use as Ruddock was washed up, still took some heavy shots and may even have fallen victim to an early stoppage.. Lewis sparked him early for sure, but in my eyes a pre-Steward Lewis was a lot better than a pre-Steward Wlad. Razor took Tyson the distance and survived some hard punches from an aged but still dangerous Bonecrusher. He was also capable of going 12 rounds when he had to along with having some devastating power. Not saying he should be favored against a prospecting Wlad, but he shouldn't be denied a chance either.

Ray Austin either was, or deserved to be, having just won a bunch of fights and drawn with Sultan. But that's it.

I think they'd paw at each other in a boring fashion. Eventually, Wlad would nail Ruddock with a right hand through the middle of razor's guard (most likely) and really rock him. He'd last maybe a round or two more and probably have the ref wave it without a count despite being able to get up. Tko 4-8.

Prime for prime, Rudduck has a puncher's chance increased by his speed and athleticism.

Wlad beats Ruddock quite easily. Wlad fights a deliberate pace so he may not score a quick KO but Ruddock had a lot of openings so who knows. Look at that awful bend at the waist he did against Lennox opening up for that right hand. Wlad wouldn't miss that if he pulled the same move. Ruddock was a one trick pony and I think the two wars with Tyson really softened him up for Lewis and Morrison.

    Puritty/Sanders destroyed wladimir.
Ruddock was better than Puritty and Sanders.
The wladimir fangirls can say their wlad. k is better now.
    I doubt it.
    1. He's older/old.(Obviously his stamina can't be better)
    2. His chin isn't better.
    3. He isn't faster.
    4. He can't punch harder.
    5. His style and skill are the same.

True, he has more experience but this doesn't important in this case.
Ruddock was much more talented but he competed in a strong era in
his best times.(Just Tyson and Lewis could beat a good Ruddock)
Two bums like Puritty and Sanders destroyed wladimir.
The sanders fight proves wladimir is easy to hit.
Why won lots of fight wladimir ? Because he had lots of unathletic
    opponent. Ruddock was a good athlete.He wasn't a brock,pulev,chambers,
    byrd,wach,cancer- survivor pianeta,leapai,povetkin,thompson,peter type chicken.
Wladimir hasn't tall muscular 220 lbs+ skilled,hard-punching opponent like Ruddock.
    Best tall wladimir klitoris opponents:
    - Haye.He was under 220 lbs against w. klitoris.
    Old C. thompson destroyed Haye.
-Wach featherfisted. (His best win an old McBride)
-Thompson(2 fights) featherfisted. (His best win Solis)
    These weren't good tall opponents.
-Sanders. The 37 years old fat, weak Sanders destroyed wladimir.
    - The bum Puritty destroyed wladimir.
wladimir's record agains his best 5 tall opponents:
    4(2ko) wins-2 (2ko)losses.
    Only 2 ko wins/6 fights.
And same ko loss ratio 2ko losses/6
Honorable mention his D. Williamson win but he couldn't knock Williamson out of course.(Wladimir was down against Williamson)

I can't say wladimir was too impressive in this case.
Ruddock destroyed the tall James Smith.
This ko is better than anything from w. klitoris.

Ruddock might well be a bridge too far for wlad, who is great at stopping gassing fatboys, but has problems against well skilled HWs.

mind you, who isn't great at stopping gassing fatboys, not really a claim to fame, that.
