10 fighters to beat Ali?

    This is not accurate. Holmes was a much better infighter with an uppercut. Holmes was a better body puncher, and had a better hook.

    I think he had better stamina as well, and seldom did things to give punchers chances such as resting on the ropes.

    I'm not sure these greats from the past could defeat Ali. In those days heavies fought flat flooted and kept their guard relatively low. Ali was rarely flat flooted, used hit-and-run style, and kept his guard up. It would have been easy for him to land repeated jabs and avoid counter punches by continually stepping backwards as he often did.

    As for modern opponents, yeah I can see Holmes and Klitsch in their prime giving him a tough time even when he was at his best.

    Golota? Couldn't even beat the best fighters of his own era, let alone the greatest of all time.

    Ali would outbox Vitali, just like he did to Liston, and just like Liston, Vitali would pull out an injury excuse and.find a way to quit
