I think Haye would have beaten many of those.
We know that Lennox did lose to one of Wlads opponents but I think Lewis would have beaten them.
I think Haye stands a chance against all the others except Lewis.
I think S Peter against Frazier may have been interesting.

It is not really fair to compare as many of todays HWs are far bigger and Im also not convinced about this so called golden era, as I feel that golden eras are often formed when there are 50/50 fights because one fighter isnt truly dominant, but that doesnt mean they are all great fighters.

This is a very deep post that will shock many, but hard to argue against.

One thing I will say is that Ali did show alot of heart and bravery in his career, but I do agree with alot of this post

As deep as a puddle of rain water.

There is no denying the cult of Ali.

It also exists for any fighter fans like (typically from the past) and is a clear form of bias. If you're a fan of a guy, losses mean the other fighter must have been that great.

If you don't like a fighter, you twist it to where even the target fighter winning is worthless.

Wlad gets hit with this a lot because many people don't like how dominant he is. They'd rather not face that what he's accomplishing is impressive by any historical standard.

As the old saying goes....you know you're someone in boxing when people quit making excuses for you and start making them for your opponents.

Ali is not tiny , weighed the same like Haye at his best (1967) + same size

Ali was 213 in that time , Haye weighed 213 against Klitschko
And Ali is better in every department.

So its just bull**** talking about how tiny Ali is.

Well, Wlad Klitschko opponent Hasim Rahman knocked out Lennox Lewis to win the title.

So, yes, at least one great heavyweight from the past DID lose to a Wlad Klitschko opponent.

Haye got better power and his reflexes seems to be on the same level. (Hayes reflexes is on level with just about anyone.)

Would the best Tyson lose to any of Wlad's opponents? No. Would any full ten years of Tyson probably lose to somebody on Wlad's ten years unbeaten opponents list? Probably to somebody. Same goes for Lewis and a lot of other ones.

Prime Joe Frazier would lose to 24-0 version of Sam Peter. Ill take a wild guess and say he would get TKO'd in 2 rounds, after suffering anout, oh, maybe 6 knockdowns.

I have never stated that Mormeck(not Mormek) would be Ali's best opponent. Mormeck would not have been the best opponent Ali faced but he sure wouldn't have been among the worst.

The problem with the argument is that all of those great heavyweights have losses or struggled or had bad style matches and lost fights they were supposed to win easily. It's pretty hard to run through twenty or so top heavyweight contenders in any era without a hiccup no matter how good you are.

Jack Johnson was knocked out by Klondike Haynes and Joe Choynski. Jack Dempsey got knocked out in the first by Fireman Jim Flynn and dropped decisions to Willie Meehan. Joe Louis got sparked by Max Schmeling and nearly outpointed by Billy Conn. Ali was nearly knocked out by Henry Cooper, then lost in embarrassing fashion to Leon Spinks. Lennox Lewis was knocked out by Oliver McCall and Hasim Rahman. Mike Tyson was beat by Buster Douglas, etc. Holyfield would have weird off nights and lost to James Toney and John Ruiz. Was George Foreman supposed to get knocked out by an elderly Ali or decisioned by Young?

Other than those sobering boxing facts there is the possibility that some of Wladimir's opponents aren't really all that bad. Ruslan Chagaev is very reminiscent of Joe Frazier both in terms of physical dimensions and career. Tony Thompson was heavily underrated since nobody but Klitschko beat him until he was 42. Samuel Peter was pretty solid. Rahman and McCall actually had beaten Lewis. Ibragimov, Haye, Byrd, and Povetkin are all good fighters. I think it would be tough for anyone to get by that crew unscathed. It can be done but there might still be some upsets.
